Adriana is absolutely amazing! I'd wanted a Lana Del Rey portrait tattoo for yearsss, and I knew I specifically wanted a woman who's great at portraits to do it. Anyway, Adriana is hands down the best around for portraits or any sort of detailed tattoo. She's also very nice and understanding.

I’ve only lived in STL for a few years, and I’ve spent a majority of that time trying to find a good artist. I recently came across Adriana, and I am beyond thankful that I did. She’s such a kind person, and an amazing artist, to say the least.

I had 3 scars on my leg to cover up, and I was hesitant as to who I could trust to do so. I also wanted to find someone who made the entire process as comfortable as possible. I have spent the past 5 years hiding my leg and rarely wearing shorts because of my insecurity, but now I can confidently do so and feel “normal” again.

Self Inflicted Studios Downtown is the place to go. All the artists are friendly and their work is great! I highly recommend giving them a call!!!

I went to Self Inflicted for a piece that had been on my mind for a long time. I’d seen the standard of work online and asked Adriana if she could book me in, which she did, at a time that suited us both. When I arrived Adriana had already sketched my idea, adding the influence of her experience, to create a design that exceeded my imagination.

I’ve got two other large tattoos already, but this one was the least painful so far. The work was done quickly but unhurried, and the way I was treated in the studio was professional yet with remarkable warmth and dignity.

Self Inflicted Tattoos sets the standard for how it should be done. The staff there are really cool, the artwork is outstanding and Adriana was brilliant, from initial contact to the handshake at the end.

Went to Adriana for the biggest tattoo I’ve ever gotten and she absolutely killed it. I sent her an idea to work with and when she showed me the final product it was even better than I could’ve imagined. I have followed her work for quite some time now and I was so excited to get one of her gorgeous lady faces on me.

With it being a bigger tattoo, she constantly made sure I was comfortable and gave me breaks as needed. She kept me talking the whole time which really helped once we hit the 2 hour mark. With that being said, Adriana is so sweet and so so talented. I am over the moon in love with this tattoo. She is the best. I highly recommend her as an artist and Self Inflicted as a shop. Great staff and super clean shop. I will definitely be back as soon as Adriana’s books open up again!
